Job Title: Production Light Assembly and Packaging of Retrofit Kits

Hours Worked: Start time – 5:00am or as needed

Compensation: $12.82 hourly

Employment Type: Other – Temporary


Responsible for light hand assembly and basic tools/power tool assembly of company products. This job requires individuals to put together pieces of an “LED RetroFit Conversion Kit” that converts a strip-type luminaire (light) into an energy efficient LED luminaire.


  • Reading drawings/diagrams/pictures to ensure proper assembly of assigned job.
  • Attaching wires to product.
  • Attaching lamp holders and label to product.
  • Placing items in a bag with instructions and ensuring all parts are included.


  • Must work well independently and with assistance from others or as a team.
  • Must be able to read instructions in English.
  • Must be able to read a diagram and instructions, follow the instructions and assembly product accordingly.
  • Must be very conscientious of doing a great job, performing quality work, and meeting production quotes.
  • Must be able to work starting at 5:00am for all shifts or as needed.
  • Must have transportation in order to meet the requirements of arriving at work prior to the shift starting at 5am as public transportation services are limited.


  • Must be able to stand for a period of (8) hours.


  • (6) months previous assembly experience preferred.


  • Work will be performed in a warehouse/plant type environment. 
  • Must work well independently and with assistance from others or as a team.


  • Regular and consistent attendance is required.
  • Employee must be flexible with scheduling and their availability. 
  • Employees must abide by all company policies. It is the employee’s responsibility to stay abreast of policy and procedure changes throughout the duration of their employment.
  • Employees are required to abide by company safety procedures at all times in order to ensure the maintenance of a safe and hazard free work environment.
  • Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times while performing job duties that require the use of PPE.
  • Employees may be required to perform other duties not specified in their job descriptions as requested, directed or assigned.
